Thaw Lunacy Hearing Closes Admission of Testimony

New York July 13 The Thaw lunacy hearing in White Plains closed for the day as 23 witnesses were questioned to prove Harry K Thaw is sane or insane. Mrs Mary C Thaw and Mrs Carnegie testified that there was a plot to remove Thaw to Matteawan Hospital for confinement. Mrs Thaw recalled a July 1906 meeting at the Hotel Lorraine with Delafield and judge Ol iot and said the defense was insanity. Mrs Carnegie testified about her husband’s temper and warned the court. Judge Keogh announced a likely week after briefs to render a decision.

First Presbyterian Church Notes and Local Services

The First Presbyterian Church invites all to attend services at 11 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. with Sunday School at 10:44 a.m. The sermon titled Our Personal Appearance is led by Pastor Salome Acott.
