Governor Carey Calls State Convention of Progressives

Board of Charities and Reform to tour state institutions

Governor Joseph M. Carey led by board members will depart today for a statewide inspection tour along the Union Pacific line. The group will visit the state hospital for the insane at Evanston, the Rock Springs hospital, the Nawllas penitentiary, and the Larantie fish hatchery, returning Saturday. Wilmington Del July 15 The new battleship Wyoming on a trial trip from Philadelphia is stuck on a sandbar at Three Quarters Point a mile and a half below the city. Government ships went to assist. The captain reports no damage and the ship will proceed with the next high tide.
