PULHAM England April 3 The dirigible airship R-34 already is declared obsolete though completed after the war. Its sister ships R-33 and R-32 will be used only for experimental purposes with no commerce or passenger service expected. The R-34 measures 640 feet and had a cruising radius near 5 000 miles.
Union bakers in Denver filed a demand with the state industrial commission for a flat weekly wage rise of 37 dollars. Current scales run from 25 to 42 dollars weekly, and bakers warn bread prices could rise by about 10 percent if granted.

Labor officials reported the walkout occurred despite a Mex can federal court injunction issued yesterday by President Carranza to delay the strike for 72 hours. Prohibition in Britain is noted as having poor chances due to the influence of drunken mobs at prohibition meetings.
