Local firms fined by WCB in Chetwynd area

The Workers' Compensation Board disclosed penalties for three Chetwynd area companies for safety infractions under Industrial Health and Safety Regulations. Total Design Builders Inc. received 7000 and 3500 fines for excavation violations, Tri-Team Construction Ltd. was fined 3500 for high voltage approach limits, and Elgin Exploration Company Ltd. faced 3500 for not wearing seat belts and training gaps.

Rollover Tractor Trailer Near East Pine Hill

RCMP report a 37 year old Prince George resident charged with Speed Relative to Conditions after a single vehicle tractor trailer rollover on East Pine Hill around 10 00 am hauling large hay bales. Driver had minor injuries. Several other local incidents noted with charges and thefts.
