Powder King ski hill in receivership tests north tourism drive
In northern British Columbia Powder King Ski Resort, once owned by a seven member investor group led by Dr. Phil Asquith, has been placed in receivership with Author Anderson Inc. to operate and seek a buyer. The $680000 loan, initially forgiven after a promised day lodge, remains disputed as government and bank say payments faltered.
