Old Age Security benefits rise in October
The changes raise the Old Age Security pension to 351.41 per month and boost GIS and Spouse's Allowance payments. GIS maximum for a single person becomes 417.61, or 272.01 for married couples with certain qualifiers. Spouse's Allowance rises to 623.42 and Widowed Spouse's Allowance to 688.26. All increases are CPI based and updated quarterly.
