Sanctuary Ranch family reunion marks 20th year

Linda Franklin organized Sanctuary Ranch's 20th annual family reunion over September 1 to 3 with well over 100 attendees. The event celebrated the ranch's discovery in 1975 by Jere and Linda Franklin and its era as a Seventh Day Adventist Academy offering living without modern conveniences. Highlights included hay wagon rides by Don Smith's Percherons Jigger and Stoney, driven by Tim Harford and his daughter Tammy, and a Pine Valley Ranch tribute. Don Smith's wagon rides were also planned for Pine Valley Country Days on September 24, weather permitting.
