Town Council briefs on grants and bylaw actions
On October 19 1999 the Town Council reviewed multiple grants in aid requests for 2000 from groups including Little Giants Air Cadets Chetwynd Women’s Resource Society Royal Canadian Legion and Pine Valley Trail Blazers Snowmobile Club. Council also discussed paving private driveways emergency generator options and two tax exemption by laws. The meeting covered waste management comment from Louisiana Pacific and potential relocation of the log building to Rotary Park with a $15000 appraisal noted as low.
