Level playing field sought as doctors press for north BC incentives
In the South Peace region doctors at Dawson Creek withdrew services though emergency coverage continued. A long term funding package for recruitment, retention, on-call hours, and overtime is urged to create a level playing field with Prince George and other regions. The aim is equitable benefits, equipment upgrades, and clarified federal provincial funding to sustain care.
