Gas leak near Chetwynd contained and investigated
A sour gas leak at an acid gas injector on a Talisman site near the Sukunka Forest Service Road was quickly controlled by Spectra Energy and Talisman staff. No injuries or public danger occurred, air quality was monitored, and a root cause involving stem cap bolts on a valve is under investigation with plant shutdowns in place for inspection.
