Music in the valley by John Enns-Wind
Local singers in Chetwynd hosted two concerts the last weekend of April. David Tocher performed solo material with minimal accompaniment, showing promise despite rough transitions and a few uneven moments. The Gideons Songfest raised about 650 dollars for Liberia Bible purchases, featuring Cindy Barkly, Dean Dokkie, Don Harris, and Renelle Leblanc in a diverse program.
