Radio Outage Hits Peace FM Chetwynd Station
Peace FM in Chetwynd suffered about twelve hours of radio silence when a studio transmitter link failed. Executive Director Leo Sabulsky said the link fried itself, crews restored service with an alternate source, and a replacement STL from Saskatchewan will cost up to five thousand dollars. The station plans a backup system to prevent repeats and aims to be back to full strength by the paper’s publication.
