Run for Recovery aims to fund Northeastern BC treatment centre
Marathoner Wendy Brown from Babine Lake First Nation plans a 327 km trek from Fort St John to Hudson's Hope Chetwynd Dawson Creek and back to raise funds for the Northern Lights Recovery Centre Society. The project seeks sponsors, pledges, and an RV support vehicle as communities back a proposed 5 million dollar residential treatment centre with 28 42 and 60 day programs.
