Community Garden Offers Free Root Plots This Summer
Chetwynd community gardeners open 25 by 25 foot plots at Pine Valley Exhibition Park for the season at no charge. One acre has been surveyed and plots assigned to about a dozen locals. The project aims to develop the site over two years with excess space to be sold at the local farmer's market. Rene Poulin and Julie Shaw lead the effort.
