Rec Centre Summer Activities and Leagues

The Rec Centre lists a June to July slate with a basketball five on five tournament on June 17, mixed teams urged and pre-register by June 12 at $50 per team. Also Slam Basketball League mid June, volleyball co ed triples starting June 6 at $20, drop in ball hockey schedules, teen programs including Travelling Teens Club and a June 9 teen dance, plus a weekly PTF fitness class for teen girls.

Chetwynd held its annual Run for Light on Thursday June 1 at 10 00 p m starting from the Chetwynd Leisure Pool. This year s event featured the usual night course and community participation with residents and local groups taking part.
