Hasler Flats meeting on traffic and pollution concerns
About 50 Pine Valley residents met with regional district officials and representatives from Westcoast Energy BC Rail and Petrosul to address traffic, a one lane bridge, and environmental complaints. Judy Winland presented a letter listing ongoing worries including heavy traffic, lack of sidewalks for 25 children, dangerous goods shipments, and sulphur smells, while alleging government neglect in favor of industry.
