NHA positions PGRH as regional referral centre cog

The Northern Health Authority aims to make Prince George Regional Hospital the regional hub with mid sized hospitals sharing workloads and small hospitals serving as local one stop centers. The plan links Quesnel Vanderhoof facilities with PGRH and clusters in northeast and northwest to share specialists. The network intends basic acute care close to home with on site doctors offices and services forming under one roof.
