Pipeline safety focus as Western line nears full capacity
Plateau Pipe Line Ltd held an open house at the Chetwynd Rec Centre to update on reactivating the Western pipeline from Taylor to Kamloops. Pembina and the BC Oil and Gas Commission officials described integrity plans, SCADA leak detection, and testing, aiming for full capacity by month end while stressing safety and improved emergency response.
