Regional District pays former director Lasser for long‑delayed expenses
Phil Cove of the Regional District says Charlie Lasser received a 13 000 plus cheque for past expenses. Lasser had been paid earlier with a smaller sum during his term, and the board, after long delay and legal advice, will cover two more years of receipts. New rules now require expenses be claimed within three months.
