Gas project on hold delays and damages at Pine Cone Motel
Westcoast Energy postpones the Tumbler Ridge gas plant start up to November 1997 after NEB hearing delays and scheduling pressures. A logging truck damaged a canopy and a car crash caused by an icy driveway adds costs. Estimated project costs include 673 million for Tumbler Ridge and 397 million for Fort St. John. Local Alberta activity continues with new pipelines and a dehydration facility planned near Brazion Creek.
