Texaco's BC Star Withdraws Gas Facility Bid Near Stoney Creek
At a second public meeting in Chetwynd Elk's Hall, Texaco's BC Star withdrew its bid to build a gas processing facility near the Stoney Creek community about 16 km west of Chetwynd. Over 120 residents spoke against sulphur flaring as directors sought more input before proceeding with the Hart Highway gas well project.
