Postcard From 1936 Reaches Ontario Man In 1983

Hal Cummings of Massey Ontario recalls 1983 as the year a postcard mailed in 1936 finally arrived. He received an envelope last summer with the note found during renovations at Thunder Bay post office. The card shows a hospital in Callander Ontario, a two cent stamp and a message from Mrs Bowes asking to bring home one of five babies. The five Dionne quintuplets were the babies referenced and the card was mailed in fall 1936 by a friend.
