North Peace grain farmer Randy Hadland called for Keith Henry to resign as chair of the B C Utilities Commission Site C Panel during a Taylor meeting after a tumultuous day at hearings in Fort St John. He accused Henry of disregarding material and bad manners toward intervenors and said Henry should hire his own hall for discussion. Henry did not respond.

As Montreal enrollment drops many schools close or empty, but about 15 sites are being converted into cooperative housing. Noahs Ark, the only completed project, offers studio units at 110 dollars and two or three bedrooms at 260 dollars, within walking distance downtown. Residents say shared living lowers costs though tensions arise when rents rise.
