Senator Connally of Texas, a Spanish war veteran, moved to override, but the motion was postponed at his request. The plan is to present a new bill in the house after the recess.
Four Baltimore boys Wilbert Alban 15 Donald Moore 22 John Belly 14 and Cin Welden 9 were drowned when swept into a storm sewer during a heavy weekend storm. Police and scouts searched statewide after they vanished from near the train entrance two miles from the harbor. Bodies recovered in the harbor confirmed the tragedy.
