Burlington Manufacturing Co plans to withdraw its Chanute plant by April with production moving to Miami Oklahoma or Brunswick Missouri. The Chanute plant at 111 W 3rd employs about 105 people and generates 200000 to 250000 dollars in annual payroll. The plant will become a warehouse and maintenance point, while Chanute Development Co disputes repair costs and rent credits beyond the lease terms.
