Four Crashes Are Reported in Local Police Log
Police investigated three non injury traffic accidents yesterday and a fourth reported today. Cars driven by Bob Ames and Larry Harris collided at 4th and Highland with minor and moderate damage. A 1950 Pontiac driven by Tony Roland backed into a parked car on Santa Fe causing $25 damage and Roland was cited for no license. A collision at Lincoln and Elm involved Gary Clemans and Guy Gromer with about $150 damage to both vehicles. A 1955 Chevrolet ran off the road near Leanna and an unidentified car broke a gas meter on Forest Street. A bicycle incident near Main and Plummer caused no injuries. the rider’s name was not obtained. City crews repaired the gas meter connection on Forest Street.
