Oil flow order narrows pipeline transfers in Kansas
The Kansas Corporation Commission told Sinclair Crude Oil Co to resume normal oil purchases from wells on two Southeast Kansas pipelines and ordered Sinclair Pipeline Co to ship the oil to Producers Pipe Line Co. of Iola. The orders take effect at 7 am Thursday and last until jurisdiction over the pipeline transfer is resolved. Oil producers warned abandonment would raise transport costs and hurt marginal wells.
