Motorist Killed Near St Paul as Kansas Toll Mounts
A 72 year old Pittsburg man Harry Redden was killed when his sedan collided head on with a pickup two miles east of St Paul Kansas. Irene Baker a sister of Mrs Ferguson was injured and transported to a Girard hospital. George Fager the truck driver was treated for cuts at a Parsons hospital. The crash occurred as Fager started a left turn off the highway and Redden’s car swerved into it during a Wichita to Chanute trip. Authorities investigated the wreck and listed demolished vehicles.
