Hospital patient recovers from hunting accident wound in leg
Lindberg was wounded Sunday while retrieving a downed bird during a hunt with Robert Ramsey in the Odense area. Ramsey drove him to Neo sho Memorial Hospital where he receives treatment for the leg injury. Police filed the report detailing the mishap.

Traffic Mishap Fatal to Three
A car collision on Highway K17 south of Hutchinson claimed three lives and injured another. Victims were Sammie Pederson 14 and his brother Robert 19 of Nickerson Kansas and Ernest B Johnson 17 apprentice airman from Castlewood Virginia. Fellow apprentice airman F D Smith was injured. Johnson and Smith were stationed at Hutchinson Naval Air Station. Pederson brothers died in Hutchinson hospital and at the naval station hospital Ernest B Johnson died.

United States Plans At Least Ten Satellites Soon

Driver Arrested After Chain of Accident Near Chanute
Erie Homer E Ostrander 26 of Chanute was arrested for operating a motor vehicle under the influence after a two car collision six miles east of Chanute on Highway K39. Ostrander pled guilty in a justice court to a 125 dollar fine after attempting to pass on the wrong side of Robert Roles vehicle. Both cars sustained front and right side damage. Sheriff Lee Montgomery and Undersheriff John Phelps investigated.

Teen Canteen Tag Day Set For Saturday
Roys tee Junior High pupils will conduct the tag day to support the Teen Canteen fund drive. The committee seeks 1800 to operate the canteen next year, with about half the amount raised so far. Clarence E. Lindsey, 29, of 525 S. Evergreen, suffered a severe head injury when his car left the highway and rolled north of Colony. Arthur Ross Brown 30, an ex convict, was charged with kidnapping under the Lindbergh Law for the murder of Wilma Allen 34. Prison Trusty Crushed to Death on Farm Tractor
