Car Crashes Cause Light Damage At City Intersection

Convict Testifies on Escape From Springfield Prison

Neosho Memorial Hospital trustees approved an annual payroll increase of about $38 000 for more than 120 full time and 15 part time employees effective Jan 1 1968. The hospital budget for 1968 rises to over $520 000 with 1967 around $484 000. Minimum hourly wage rises to $1.16 amid a federal wage law schedule reaching $1.60 by 1971. Man killed near Topeka after pedestrian hit by car
An unidentified man, tentatively identified as Francis Defoe of Cloquet Minnesota, was killed Tuesday night after being struck by a car on U S 24 west of Rossville. His body was thrown more than 100 feet. Deputies say the victim was walking in the highway center just after a truck passed.
