INDEPENDENCE AP Miss Anna A. Ingelman 80 longtime high school dramatics instructor for William Inge and Vivian Vance died after a fire at her Independence home. Fire Chief Olin Pitts said a gas stove ignited a magazine rack causing the blaze. She died from suffocation and shock two hours after discovery. Survivors include a sister Mrs. Mary Maud Tingrey of Pittsburg Kansas. Funeral services set for Monday.

Wasser for Insurance notes a fall in police court fines from September to October totaling 415 dollars with 208 dollars from parking meter tickets. The department logged 973 parking tickets, answered 240 calls, and investigated 14 traffic accidents across age groups, with 26 in each group. Four Boys Rob Bank Then Return Money
Four high school boys interrupted a bank robbery at the Farmers State Bank in Watertown South Dakota. They fled with cash but returned the money ten minutes later after community members urged them to. No one was harmed and all four are in juvenile court for delinquency. authorities say it began as a prank but escalated. The bank is in the northeastern state town ten miles west of Watertown. A. J.
