Junior High School students collected 517.36 dollars Friday night for UNICEF. The Student Council sponsored the drive with Freda Betts assisting. Grades competed by homerooms. top 7th grade was Mrs. Mee's 5th and 6th hour class, 8th grade Jim Wood's 3rd hour, and 9th grade Mrs. Hemphill's 4th hour. About 300 attended Halloween activities supervised by twelve teachers in two gymnasiums. Free pop provided by the VFW.
