Anne Waddell of Garden City Kansas won first prize in the 1956 Skylady Derby announced in Little Rock Arkansas. Mickey Clark of Florissant Missouri took second. Erma Jace of St Louis was Miss Clark's co pilot. The event started in Dallas and ended in Little Rock with a trophy and cash prizes.
