District speech and drama festival opens with 300 participants
Left And Pitch Visiting high school students took over both Junior and Senior High School for the district speech and drama festival. The event began at 8 30 with one act plays and other events at the Senior High Junior College building. Over 300 students expected. 205 entries received across plays orations speeches readings. Two judges missing one stuck in a snow drift near Iola the other forgot the date. Principal Howard A Jester directed the festival with teachers Robert L Martin and Elizabeth Pieper filling in.

14 Year Old Caught After Break-Ins At Robison Motor Co
