Moss to Advise on Kansas City Galena Turnpike Bonds
Gov. Robert Docking said Gale Moss, former turnpike manager, will consult on bond sales for the Kansas City Galena toll road at 25 dollars per hour with no time limit. Moss will work with Terry Scanlan and John Montgomery and the turnpike authority to find a solution as the authority seeks up to 120 million in bonds and 40 thousand for a feasibility study. An Assistant Attorney General opinion says the Finance Council has new power to provide the 200 thousand needed.

Two U S military HH3E helicopters completed history making nonstop flight from New York to Paris covering about 4270 miles in 30 hours 48 minutes.
