Two-Vehicle Crash East of Erie with No Injuries
A two car collision at a county road intersection east of Erie caused heavy damage but no injuries. Cecil Kyser 37 rural Erie and Fred Heitman 20 rural Walnut were driving a 1948 Chevrolet and a 1955 Ford respectively. both said they did not see the other vehicle approaching. The Kyser car slid 40 feet into the impact and the front end was crushed. A separate backing accident at 20 2 W Main damaged a 1956 Chevrolet driven by George W. Lee Iola when struck by Neil Herb 15028 Edith in a backing from the curb.
