Truck Car Collision Fatal for Two Near McPherson

INDEPENDENCE Mo AP Merle Marshall Quick Sr and his wife marked their 48th wedding anniversary in Independence Hospital July 15 as a hospital cook baked a cake and nurses decorated Mrs Goldie V Quick's room. Last Friday after six weeks with a heart ailment she died at age 69. Today her husband a retired grocer and 67 entered the hospital with cancer. They will be buried Thursday in Mound Grove Cemetery.
