Three men receive life terms for policeman’s death
In Liberty Missouri three men LeRoy Larson Walford North Dakota Billy Miles Los Alamos New Mexico and Jack Lynn Hodge formerly of Phoenix Arizona were sentenced to life imprisonment after pleading guilty in circuit court for the murder of Kansas City police officer Bennie Hudson. Hudson a 22 year old rookie officer, was fatally shot while questioning the trio after they robbed a restaurant and fled following a traffic stop. Larson admitted shooting the officer.
