50-Cent Tag Penalty To Start February 18
TOPEKA L A Billings superintendent of the Kansas Motor Vehicle department reminds owners that the 50-cent penalty normally applies Feb 16 but courthouses are closed on Saturday Feb 15 so the penalty starts Tuesday Feb 18 1964. The 1963 registration is honored until midnight March 2 for the same reason. Enforcement of 1964 plates begins March 3 with an additional 50-cent penalty on March 1 and each month thereafter.
