Mrs Nellie Mae Minnick 71 of Wichita was killed in a head on collision on K 57 southeast of Pittsburg. Glenn Moore manager of a local furnace company office was seriously injured. Both victims were alone in their cars.

Mapleton Tot Found Dead After Wandering From Home
A three year old boy from a Mapleton area farm disappeared at 2 p.m. and was found dead after a long search east of Mapleton. Local officers and volunteers from four counties joined the search aided by a National Guard unit and plane. The coroner attributed death to exposure and pneumonia from rain, with the body found near the farm of Charles White by locals after the dog guided searchers to the scene.

Sooner Youth Trapped in Car After Night Crash
