Hunters Paradise Farm Near Neodesha Opens for Public Quail and Pheasant Hunt
On a 320 acre Grubb family farm near Neodesha Kansas hunters from Chicago and others pay to hunt a set number of birds. Jay Grubb says operators release extra birds from pens to meet customer quotas and that about 60 percent of quail and 30 percent of pheasants escape. Licensed by the Forestry Fish and Game Commission the grounds have operated about a year with around 1200 birds freed so far.
