Youth Arrested In Pecan Thefts In Erie Area
Delbert Pierce 23 of Erie was arrested by the sheriff in pecan thefts from Charles Norris in Erie and Pat Van Leeuwen at St Paul. Pierce allegedly confessed and named another suspect out of county. About 155 pounds from Van Leeuwen and 245 pounds from Norris were stolen last week possible sales at Oswego and Chetopa. The Norris nuts had been returned in an earlier case involving three Erie youths. Nuts valued at 38 cents a pound.
