In Winfield Kansas last night two men died in a head on crash near the city. Jack W Wenzel a 29 year old from Wichita and Donald H Sharmantine a 28 year old from Raytown Missouri were in Wenzels car. The truck driver Harry J Bal dock age 48 of Winfield escaped injury.

Three Year Term For Callan In Federal Delinquency Case

Accident Victims Satisfactory After Head On Collision
Mrs Harold Weis of Chanute and the Rev Robert Noblett were both reported in satisfactory condition at Neosho Memorial Hospital after a head on crash yesterday. Mrs Weis had severe lacerations and a neck strain while Noblett had fractured ribs. Noblett Jr. sustained leg injuries and was dismissed. Police said the Weis car traveled west on a county road and the Noblett car east near a narrow bridge where the Weis brake stuck, causing a skid and collision.
