Two Kansas Women Killed in Accident
Two Marion County women were killed in a collision of automobiles driven by their husbands yesterday. Mrs. John F. Schmidt, 64, of Goessel, and Mrs. Arnold Goertzen, 56, who lived near the scene eight miles north of Walton, suffered injuries. Schmidt had a head cut while Goertzen sustained multiple fractures. Both were taken to Goessel hospital.

Trading Stamp Law Faces New Test in Kansas
Topeka reports a new test of Kansas trading stamp law as Kroger at Topeka is cited for violating the statute. William Cole, Kroger manager, was arrested Saturday and freed on $500 bond.
