Mississippi River plastic boat resumes journey to St Louis quarry
A two foot plastic boat launched April 1 by Trempealeau Wisconsin fourth graders is set to resume its voyage. Found by Gene Bussen over the weekend the boat contained letters from students and a note asking the finder to continue the voyage. Bussen will release the vessel midstream today en route to a St Louis quarry owner.

Seale Bails Out Then Is Held Over Connecticut Warrant
Black Panther leader Bobby Seale posted 25000 bail in a fugitive case in San Francisco before being handcuffed by city inspectors on a Connecticut murder warrant. He remains jailed awaiting a Municipal Court hearing on the warrant as authorities in New Haven charge Seale and 14 others in the Rackley slaying. Trains Collide In Darien. Five Killed In Head-On Crash
