Tornado Strikes Near St. Joseph Demolishes Buildings
A tornado south of St. Joseph Missouri demolished a large garage and a barn with an outbuilding, uprooting utility lines and trees. It struck near the junction of U S Highway 71 and Missouri Highway 116 about 12 miles south of St. Joseph, causing no injuries before moving to Theresa Long farm northeast of the intersection. A separate report noted a granary roof blown off near Maywood about 12 miles west of Kansas City Kansas.
