Two Injured In Car Mishap Near Erie Kansas
At about 1 30 a m Sunday a two vehicle crash at the US57 KS9 junction northwest of Erie left Ernest Hurford of Stark and Everett Moore of Wichita with non life threatening injuries. The driver Hurford lost control on wet pavement and struck hedge posts before entering a field. Moore was thrown from the car and suffered forehead and nose lacerations. Both were treated at the Erie clinic then taken to Mercy Hospital Parsons. The vehicle a 1954 Oldsmobile two door sustained front damage.
