British yachtsman Robin Knox-Johnston finished the first solo nonstop circumnavigation in his 32-foot Suhaili after 312 days at sea. A harbor cannon greeted him as crowds, officials, and the Royal Navy marked his 29,000 mile voyage and near gale entry to Falmouth.
