Stolen Truck Recovered After Chanute Theft
A 1960 Chevrolet half ton pickup reported missing at 6:05 a.m. was found by the highway patrol near Buffalo at about 2 p.m. Police say a .22 pistol and two five gallon cans of gasoline were missing, and dinner plates from an apartment nearby were found beside the vehicle. Bennie Eugene Vance remains at large for questioning.
