Gerald Pulley an 18 year old of Iola remained in city jail after a police chase Saturday night on North Central. He faces a reckless driving charge with bond set at 100 dollars after jumping from a moving borrowed car that struck a tree near the Community Center at Malcolm and Chestnut. The 1952 Olds owned by Cleave Washington was left at the scene and released to Washington.

Lee High Civics Teacher Arrested for Bigamy
Lee Massachusetts AP A longtime high school civics teacher Joseph R Dischino admitted bigamy after two wives and four children were found in homes eight miles apart. He pled guilty in Lee District Court to bigamy and was held on 700 bail. Dischino 37 had taught 15 years and coached basketball while leading a double life with wives Mary and Margaret Burnhop.

Driver Arrested Pleads Guilty on DWI and Licenses
